The invention relates to a flat structural component (10), in particular an underfloor protection element (10), for a motor vehicle (41), in particular an electric vehicle, having a flat-designed core element (32) of a first thermoplastic material, at least one lower and one upper cover layer (34a, 34b) of a second fibre-reinforced, thermoplastic material, wherein the cover layers (34a, 34b) are formed and integrally bonded with the core element (32), which is produced from an injection-moulding compound received between the cover layers (34a, 34b) or from an extrusion compound received between the cover layers (34a, 34b). The invention further relates to a motor vehicle having such a structural component, in particular an underfloor protection element, and to a method for producing such a structural component, in particular an underfloor protection element.
