A location system in which locating accuracy can be improved is provided.The location system includes a first measuring unit configured to measure a first variable in accordance with a time of arrival of a radio wave and a first reception strength; a second measuring unit apart from the first measuring unit and configured to measure a second variable in accordance with a time of arrival of a radio wave and a second reception strength; a storage unit configured to store first data associating a plurality of zones with first and second reference variables corresponding to times of arrivals of radio waves with respect to the first and the second measuring units for a case where the radio waves are transmitted from the plurality of zones, and second data associating the plurality of zones with first and second reference reception strengths with respect to the first and second measuring units for the case where the radio waves are transmitted from the plurality of zones; and a locating unit configured to identify from among the plurality of zones a zone having a highest probability of including a position from where radio waves are transmitted, based on the first and second variables, the first and second reference variables, and the first and second reception strengths, and the first and second reference reception strengths, using a predetermined identifying method.
