A balance adjustment method for a lifting platform; the lifting platform comprises a controller, an inclination sensor, and at least two sets of lifting mechanisms; the two sets of lifting mechanisms are disposed on two opposite sides of the lifting platform respectively, and the inclination sensor and the lifting mechanisms are all connected to the controller by means of signals. The method comprises the following steps: S1, the controller detecting whether an inclination adjustment signal is received; if no inclination adjustment signal is detected, then continuing to carry out detection; and if an inclination adjustment signal is detected, then skipping to the next step; S2, the controller detecting whether the lifting mechanisms are in a static state; if detected that the lifting mechanisms are in a working state, then returning to step S1 and continuing to carry out detection; and if detected that the lifting mechanisms are in the static state, then skipping to the next step; S3, the inclination sensor detecting the inclination of the lifting platform and transferring the detected inclination to the controller, and the controller comparing the detected inclination to a set inclination threshold; if the detected inclination exceeds the set threshold A1, then skipping to the next step; and if the detected inclination is less than or equal to the set threshold A1, then skipping to step S1 and continuing to carry out detection; S4, the controller controlling a lifting mechanism on a first side to ascend or descend while the inclination sensor continues to carry out detection; if the detected inclination is less than the inclination detected in step S3, then skipping to the next step; and if the detected inclination is greater than or equal to the inclination detected in step S3, then controlling the lifting mechanism on the first side to move, the direction of movement being opposite to that previously, and then skipping to the next step; and S5, the inclination sensor continuing to detect inclination, and when the detected inclination is less than or equal to the set threshold A1, controlling all the lifting mechanisms to stop working. It is determined whether a platform is inclined by means of detecting inclination, and then balance adjustment is performed by means of adjusting lifting mechanisms; by employing the described adjustment method, the inclination of a lifting platform may be automatically adjusted.
