A pedal system (1) for a vehicle, where the vehicle is configured for operating in a first vehicle mode (MV1) for flight operational use and a second vehicle mode (MV2) for road operational use. The pedal system (1) comprises a first pedal arrangement (2) having a first lower pedal part (2a) and a first upper pedal part (2b) arranged in connection to each other. In the first vehicle mode (MV1) the first lower pedal part (2a) is configured for activating a rudder function of the vehicle, and in the first vehicle mode (MV1) the first upper pedal part (2b) is configured for activating a braking function of the vehicle. In the second vehicle mode (MV2) the first lower pedal part (2a) and the first upper pedal part (2b) are configured for cooperating with each other to activate a throttle function of the vehicle.
