Methods for installing a wind turbine blade (10) on a wind turbine hub (30) are provided, which comprise hoisting a blade (10) towards the hub (30); bringing the blade and the hub into contact through an adaptable resilient body (50) such that the adaptable resilient body (50) is compressed between the blade (10) and the hub (30); reducing a dimension of the adaptable resilient body (50) such that the blade (10) approaches the hub; and mounting the blade to the hub. Also, assemblies for assisting in mounting a wind turbine blade to a wind turbine hub and adapted wind turbine hubs are provided.
