The invention relates to a remote-controlled robot (1) for the handling of ordnance comprising a chassis connected to a robotised arm (11) and to roller means (9, 10), wherein said chassis comprises a platform (2) joined to the robotised arm (11) by means of a movable articulated joint and articulated means which connect the platform (2) to two transmission mounts (3, 4) which are connected to the roller means (9, 10). Said articulated means are configured to laterally displace the transmission mounts (3, 4) with respect to the platform (2) between two positions. One folded position in which the transmission mounts (3, 4) are folded up with respect to the platform (2) and one deployed position where the transmission mounts (3, 4) are extended with respect to said platform (2).
