The invention relates to an electrical energy transmission system for transmitting electric energy to an electric appliance, which comprises a power input portion which can be coupled with an energy source and is configured to receive electric energy from the energy source; a first distributor node which is coupled to the power input portion on an input side; a primary energy transmission branch which is coupled to the first output portion of the first distributor node on the input side, and has a series circuit including a first resistor and a main energy transmission wire; a secondary energytransmission branch which is coupled to the second output portion of the first distributor node on the input side and has a series circuit including a second resistor and a transmission wire; a second distributor node which is coupled on the input side to the output portion of the primary energy transmission branch and the output portion of the secondary energy transmission branch, and can be coupled to the electric appliance by the power output portion; and a measuring device which is coupled to a node between the first resistor and the primary energy transmission wire and a node between thesecond resistor and the secondary energy transmission wire, and is configured to determine, based at least on a voltage measured value, the resistance change of the primary energy transmission wire.The invention further discloses a corresponding wire system.
