A humanoid robot including: a body portion (11); a head portion (10); a left arm (12L) and a right arm (12R) that have ends connected to the left and right at an upper portion of the body portion (11); a left foot (13L) and a right foot (13R) that have ends connected to the left and right at a lower portion of the body portion (11); and a left running unit (14L) and a right running unit (14R) provided to the other ends of the left foot (13L) and the right foot (13R). The left running unit (14L) has a left drive wheel (101L) on a front side of an advancing direction and a left follower wheel (102L) on a rear side in the advancing direction, the right running unit (14R) has a right drive wheel (101R) on a front side of the advancing direction, and a right follower wheel (102R) on a rear side in the advancing direction, and the left drive wheel (101L), the right drive wheel (101R), the left follower wheel (102L), and the right follower wheel (102R) travel while being in contact with a ground.
