The invention relates to a vehicle seat (1) provided with a seat portion (2) and a backrest (3), said seat comprising a casing (11) against which an actuating handle (4) rests, making it possible to control the tilting of said backrest (3), said casing (11) and said handle (4) being attached to a frame (13) of said seat (1). The main feature of a seat according to the invention is that the casing (11) is provided with at least one spring clip (20) intended for interacting with the frame (13) in order to provide the attachment thereof, at least one of the two elements made up of the handle (4) and the casing (11) having at least one projection (10, 12) capable of defining the minimum play between said casing (11) and said handle (4) when said two elements are in contact with one another, said clip (20) being capable of taking up said play when raising the handle (4).
