Pistons (20, 30) are provided to be movable in an axial direction in a cylinder (10). An inside of the cylinder (10) is sectioned into a gas chamber (C1) and a main liquid chamber (C2) by the piston (20), and the main liquid chamber (C2) is sectioned into a sub-liquid chamber (C21) and a sub-liquid chamber (C22) by the piston (30). Gas is sealed in the gas chamber (C1), and liquid is sealed in the sub-liquid chambers (C21, C22). A piston rod (40) is coupled to the piston (30). The cylinder (10) and the pistonrod (40) are respectively coupled to two positions of a vehicle body. In the piston rod (40), a communication path that connects the sub-liquid chamber (C21) to the sub-liquid chamber (C22) is formed. A moving amount of the liquid in the communication path is adjusted by an adjustment mechanism (50), whereby a moving load of the piston (30) is adjusted.
