The invention relates to a vehicle (1) for passengers comprising an electric traction motor (2), an energy storage system, a braking resistor (3) for dissipating part of the electric energy generated or stored, a climate control system (4) and a thermal conditioning circuit (7) containing a coolant fluid capable of absorbing heat. The circuit (7) comprises a circulation pump (5), the braking resistor (3), a distribution valve (6), and a control unit (10) configured for activating the circulation pump (5) and the distribution valve (6) according to pre-established conditions. The distribution valve (6) enables the passage of the coolant fluid towards a first branch line (11), connected to cooling means for cooling the coolant fluid contained in the first branch line (11), or towards a second branch line (12) connected to the climate control system (4) for supplying heat to the space reserved for passengers.
