The present invention relates to a floor panel system (10) for use in a back space or cargo space of a service vehicle (1), wherein said floor panel system (10) comprises a first floor panel (5, 5a) and a second floor panel (5, 5b), and said first floor panel (5, 5a) is adapted to be connected to said second floor panel (5, 5b) during use, each of said first and said second floor panel comprises: a top surface which is located in a plane (P), at least two lateral sides (26, 25), wherein said first and said second floor panels are characterized by a first locking portion (21) at said first lateral side (26) of said floor panel, said first locking portion (21) being provided with a locking element (32), a second locking portion (22) adjacent to said first locking portion (21) at said first lateral side (26) of said floor panel (5, 5a, 5b) a third locking portion (23) at said second lateral side (25) of said floor panel (5, 5a, 5b), said third locking portion (23) comprises a locking groove (35), a fourth locking portion (24) adjacent to said third locking portion (23), at said second lateral side (25) of said floor panel (5, 5a, 5b), and said locking element (32) of said first locking portion (21) of said first floor panel (5, 5a) being adapted to engage with the locking groove (35) of said third locking portion (23) of said second floor panel (5, 5b) during use, wherein said first and said second floor panels (5, 5a, 5b) are interlocked to each other along a first axis (41), which is parallel to said plane (P), and said first locking portion (21) of said first floor panel (5, 5a) being further configured to overlap said third locking portion (23) of said second floor panel (5, 5b) during use, and said second locking portion (22) of said first floor panel (5, 5a) being further configured to overlap said fourth locking portion (24) of said second floor panel (5, 5a) during use, wherein said first and said second floor panels (5, 5a, 5b) are interlocked to each other along a second axis (42), which is perpendicular to said plane (P).
