Herein a method of controlling a hill hold brake arrangement in a vehicle is disclosed. The method comprises steps of: monitoring (100) vehicle speed, sensing (102) accelerator pedal position, and calculating (104) driving resistance of the vehicle. Upon fulfilling a criteria (106) including inter alia the driving resistance causing the vehicle to decelerate, a step of activating (108) the hill hold brake arrangement is performed. Further aspects relate to a vehicle and a hill hold brake arrangement as such, as well as a computer program, and a computer program product related to a hill hold brake arrangement.
