A pneumatic tire comprising a directional heat conductive conduit comprising at least one heat conductive tire component (10, 11, 12) is disclosed. The heat conductive tire conduit extends from an internal portion of the tire (1) to an external surface (9) of the tire. At least one of said heat conductive tire component contains an outer atmospherically exposed surface of the tire (1). Said at least one heat conductive tire component of said directional conduit has a heat conductivity of at least 0.6 W/mK and contains a dispersion of heat conductive particles comprising at least one of exfoliated graphite platelets, carbon nanotubes, acetylene carbon black, boron nitride powder, carbonyl nickel powder, Al 2 O 3 , SiC, LiClO 4 , zinc oxide and metal particles comprising at least one of nickel, copper, aluminum and iron powders.
