The invention relates to a method for utilizing the computing and/or storage resources of at least one parked vehicle, comprising the steps of: recognizing the presence of at least one parked vehicle; establishing a network connection between at least one vehicle communication device of the at least one parked vehicle and at least one server, preferably via at least one external edge device; collecting information from the at least one parked vehicle; and dispatching at least one task to the at least one vehicle communication device. The invention further relates to a method for providing computing and/or storage resources of at least one parked vehicle, a vehicle communication device for providing computing and/or storage resources of at least one parked vehicle, and a system for utilizing the computing and/or storage resources of at least one parked vehicle.
