A system for mounting an infant carrier on a support structure such as a stroller includes one or more bracket assembly that can detachably secure with a frame of the support structure. The bracket assembly (130;212,214;312,314) includes a bracket member (130,212,312) that is movable between a deployed position and a retracted position. In the deployed position, the bracket member is adapted to receive the placement of the infant carrier thereon. In the retracted position, the bracket is disposed in a position that facilitates storage of the support structure. When desired, the bracket assembly can also be detached and removed from the frame of the support structure.
