The present invention relates to a battery positioning structure for an electric vehicle which includes a plurality of battery units constituted by battery modules, the battery positioning structure comprising: a pair of brackets configured to be attached to an outer surfaces of the battery modules, and including check plates which are detachably attached thereto, wherein one of the pair of brackets covers an upper portion of the battery modules and the other of the pair of brackets covers a lower portion of the battery modules, and wherein the battery units and the brackets are positionable on the body of the electric vehicle.
