A positioning device (4) generates, in one of the induction charging devices (2, 2a), at least two transmission signals (5, 5a, 5b) with different frequencies, which are received at the other induction charging device (2, 2b) as a superimposed reception signal. The positioning device (4) determines an associated amplitude from the reception signal for the respectively received transmission signal (5, 5a, 5b). This leads to simplified determination of the relative position with reduced complexity of hardware and reduced costs, The invention also relates to a computer program product for determining the amplitudes.
