The invention relates to the technical field of digital intelligent information management, in particular to a hydropower station closed area comprehensive management system and a control method, which mainly comprises the following steps: acquiring a vehicle basic image, identifying a vehicle appearance image and a license plate number of the vehicle basic image, establishing a management center database, judging a list of a vehicle corresponding to a current license plate, and if yes, judging the list of the vehicle corresponding to the current license plate; through the above method, a set of intelligent vehicle comprehensive management and control system integrating online checking and releasing functions is constructed, through optimizing and transforming each piece of control sentry vehicle barrier gate equipment in a closed area, the license plate of a passing vehicle is identified, and the identified image is intelligently analyzed. The problem of low informatization degree of traditional infrastructures is solved, the problem of paper passing procedure handling is avoided, whether the current vehicle can be released or not is quickly judged through the traffic credit score model, and the working efficiency of the whole system is improved.
