The invention discloses a brake signal simulator and a redundancy control system for an electromechanical brake system. The brake signal simulator comprises a shell, a first-stage compression module, a second-stage compression module and a signal detection module. The first-stage compression module comprises a first ejector rod and a first elastic assembly. The second-stage compression module comprises a second ejector rod and a second elastic assembly. The signal detection module comprises a stroke detector and a pressure sensor; the stroke detector is installed in the shell and used for detecting the movement stroke of the first ejector rod and outputting a stroke signal of the first ejector rod. The pressure sensor is arranged at the bottom of the shell and used for detecting the resultant force of the pressure of the first ejector rod and the pressure of the second ejector rod and outputting a pressure signal. According to the brake signal simulator, a redundancy control strategy is adopted, and the EMB system is cooperatively controlled to execute the brake instruction through the main control signal and the redundancy control signal, so that the driving safety of the vehicle is ensured.
