The invention relates to the technical field of power distribution networks, and discloses a power distribution network operation optimization method and system considering electric vehicle demand response and carbon quota earning.The method comprises the steps that a load demand model of an electric vehicle is determined based on energy consumption change information of the electric vehicle in a trip chain, and the accuracy and reliability of the load demand are ensured; a power distribution network double-layer optimization model is constructed, minimization of the total system operation cost is achieved on the upper layer with the minimum total operation cost of the power distribution network as the optimization target, and minimization of the power distribution network loss is achieved on the lower layer with the minimum power distribution network loss as the second optimization target. Therefore, effective coordination between EV user charging and discharging behaviors and power distribution network operation efficiency is realized, the method is suitable for a power distribution network optimization operation scene containing a large-scale EV, system operation cost and network loss are remarkably reduced, and power distribution network operation reliability is improved.
