The invention discloses a cam-based universal wheel axle frame locking mechanism with a manual control function, and relates to a universal wheel self-locking mechanism. The main components are a modified pull rod part and a rotary disc cam part. A pull rod of a traditional pull box is used for starting the self-locking device, so that the structural complexity is reduced; the brake can be started by directly lifting the pull box by grasping the pull rod; the pull rod drives a rotating disc to rotate within a certain angle through a connecting rod, the rotating disc presses a cam in a higher pair contact mode, the cam points to a specific direction by means of guidance of the cam, and then the universal wheel fixedly connected with the cam points to the specific direction. Two or more universal wheel shaft frames can be locked at the same time according to the design, and efficient braking is achieved. According to the mechanism, the universal wheel body is not required or optionally not modified, so that the reliability and durability of the universal wheel are ensured. The device has the advantages that original parts are utilized, the structure is simpler and more reliable, braking is more convenient, locking or unlocking is easier, and market requirements can be better met.
