The invention relates to the technical field of vehicle control, in particular to a self-adaptive cruise control method based on reinforcement learning driver styles, which comprises the following steps: step 1, constructing a vehicle self-adaptive cruise controller, and acquiring controller parameters; 2, information of driver intervention driving in the vehicle self-adaptive cruise process is obtained, an intelligent agent corresponding to each controller parameter is constructed, and the intelligent agents update the controller parameters according to the driver intervention driving condition and optimize the controller; and step 3, performing adaptive cruise control by using the optimized controller. The acceleration proportion is designed according to the accelerator stepping or brake acceleration value recorded during intervention and the controller model theory, the acceleration proportion serves as the reinforcement learning target of the cruise controller, the strategy of the cruise controller of the driver style is achieved, and the safety distance is obtained through the acceleration proportion and the reward function of the safety distance. And a cruise controller which is more like a driver in style can be realized on the premise of ensuring safety.
