Comprising the following steps that S1, photovoltaic panel cleaning is completed, and a photovoltaic cleaning robot stops on a photovoltaic panel; s2, deploying the unmanned aerial vehicle to move towards the photovoltaic cleaning robot; s3, the unmanned aerial vehicle is connected with the photovoltaic cleaning robot, and the unmanned aerial vehicle drives the photovoltaic cleaning robot to be separated from the photovoltaic panel; s4, judging whether a photovoltaic panel which is not cleaned exists or not; if not, the unmanned aerial vehicle carries the photovoltaic cleaning robot to return; if yes, executing the next step; s5, judging whether the residual electric quantity of the photovoltaic cleaning robot and the unmanned aerial vehicle is lower than a threshold value or not; if yes, the unmanned aerial vehicle carries the photovoltaic cleaning robot to return; and if yes, the unmanned aerial vehicle carries the photovoltaic cleaning robot to move towards the uncleaned photovoltaic panel. The invention provides a cleaning method and system for a solar photovoltaic panel. The cleaning method and system aim at solving the problem that the utilization rate of a photovoltaic cleaning robot is low.
