The invention relates to an aircraft, a method of determining an aircraft weight, and a computer readable medium. The method includes obtaining pressure data and temperature data of gas in each shock strut of a plurality of landing gears. The method includes, for each shock strut, determining a friction value associated with the shock strut based on a gas pressure and a gas temperature at a first time, for the first time corresponding to an end of a first change in gas pressure due to movement of a piston of the shock strut during loading or unloading of the aircraft. The method further includes calculating a weight of the aircraft based on the gas pressure of the shock strut at the first time and a friction value associated with the shock strut at the first time at a particular time before the loading or unloading of the aircraft causes a second change in the gas pressure of the one or more shock struts.
