The specific implementation mode of the method comprises the following steps: in response to determining that a vehicle battery enters a standing state, determining a theoretical electric quantity value corresponding to a first moment when standing of the battery begins, and monitoring the voltage of the battery in the standing process; determining that the standing type of the battery belongs to standing after charging or standing after discharging according to the monitored change condition of the voltage of the battery in the target time period; a difference value between a second moment corresponding to the starting point of the target time period and the first moment is not less than a first threshold value; determining a corresponding target voltage value when the standing of the battery is finished; searching a target electric quantity value corresponding to the target voltage value in corresponding preset reference data; and calibrating the theoretical electric quantity value according to the target electric quantity value. According to the embodiment, the accuracy of judging the standing type is improved, the target electric quantity value is closer to the real electric quantity of the battery, and the calibration precision of the electric quantity of the battery is improved.
