An aircraft thermal management system includes a high temperature circuit and a low temperature circuit. The high temperature loop is configured to manage a temperature of a fuel cell stack in the engine compartment using the engine compartment heat exchanger. The cryogenic circuit is configured to cool a plurality of thermal loads in the engine compartment using the thermal capacity of the liquid hydrogen.
