The invention relates to a mode switching method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of vehicle system control. The method comprises the steps that in response to a mode switching request, the current state of each target vehicle module and a to-be-switched mode matched with the mode switching request are acquired; the target vehicle module is a vehicle module included in a pre-constructed vehicle module state management table in a vehicle system; according to the to-be-switched mode, obtaining a to-be-switched state, matched with the to-be-switched mode, of each target vehicle module from a pre-constructed vehicle module state management table; and based on the current state and the to-be-switched state of each target vehicle module, determining a to-be-switched vehicle module included in the vehicle system, and performing state switching on each to-be-switched vehicle module. By adopting the method, the stability of the vehicle system can be improved.
