The invention relates to a vehicle energy limiting method and device, computer equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps that under the condition that a vehicle meets a preset vehicle energy limiting condition, the battery electric quantity of a vehicle storage battery is obtained; if the battery electric quantity is smaller than the preset electric quantity threshold value, a vehicle energy limiting mode is started, and the battery current of a vehicle storage battery is obtained; in the vehicle energy limiting mode, the power of vehicle-mounted electric equipment is reduced; and when the battery current is larger than the preset charging current threshold value, the vehicle energy limiting mode is quitted. By adopting the method, the continuous power shortage of the storage battery can be avoided under the condition that the functional operation of the vehicle is not influenced.
