The invention discloses an energy absorption and shock absorption mechanism which is characterized in that the energy absorption and shock absorption mechanism comprises an upper connecting rod, an upper fixing end, an unlocking rod, a lower fixing end, an energy absorption shell, a locking bolt and a lower connecting rod, the unlocking rod is provided with an unlocking area, and the diameter of the unlocking area is smaller than that of the unlocking rod. Compared with other shock absorption mechanisms, the energy absorption and shock absorption mechanism has the advantages that huge shock caused by shock waves such as explosion can be effectively solved, production efficiency is improved by the aid of simplified design, high-efficiency response capacity of equipment when the equipment faces external shock or vibration is guaranteed, and safety and reliability of a system are enhanced; by reducing unnecessary parts, the mechanism not only reduces the manufacturing and maintenance cost, but also reduces potential fault points, and prolongs the service life of equipment.
