The invention relates to an electric vehicle energy management method and device. The problem that vehicle performance and user experience are affected by insufficient output power of a battery is solved. The method comprises the steps that the driving state of a vehicle is detected; acquiring a corresponding output limiting strategy according to the driving state; and adjusting the output of the power battery according to the output limiting strategy. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, efficient and stable vehicle energy management is realized.
