A system for identifying a relevant person for an occupant within a vehicle using a head-up system includes a controller in communication with an external scene camera adapted to: capture an image of an external environment in the vicinity of the vehicle; identifying at least one relevant person located in the external environment in the vicinity of the vehicle; describing at least one related person; determining a suitable augmented graph related to the identified at least one related person to be displayed to the occupant; and displaying, with the head-up display system, the enhanced graphic onto the interior surface of the windshield of the vehicle.
