The invention discloses a temporary operation platform for underwater construction. The platform can sink and float upwards in water by changing the gravity of the platform. The platform comprises a sinking and floating pedestal which is of a hollow structure and forms a medium cavity; the medium cavity forms a closed space for accommodating a medium; a plurality of through holes corresponding to each other in number and position are formed in the foundation plate and the top wall of the sinking and floating pedestal in a penetrating manner; the number of the pipelines is the same as that of the through holes, and the pipelines are correspondingly inserted into the through holes; each through hole and one pipeline form a group of medium exchange passages, so that the exchange between the medium in the closed medium cavity and the outside is realized; the method has the advantages of saving construction investment and improving construction efficiency.
