The invention relates to a wheel type bowing steering tractor, in particular to a steering control method of a bowing steering tractor, which sets three working condition modes: firstly, only bowing steering is executed, secondly, rear wheel auxiliary in-phase steering is executed while bowing steering is executed, and thirdly, rear wheel auxiliary reverse-phase steering is executed while bowing steering is executed. The principle of the control method is that steering modes are determined according to different working conditions. By means of the control method, the tractor has the smaller steering radius in the steering process compared with a traditional tractor, the maneuverability of the tractor in a narrow space is improved, and the tractor has higher stability during high-speed and medium-speed driving.
