The invention relates to the technical field of electric vehicle drum brakes, and discloses a drum brake type electromagnetic and friction hybrid braking device for an electric vehicle, a friction braking unit of the drum brake type electromagnetic and friction hybrid braking device is provided with a brake drum connected to a power source to rotate, brake pads sequentially arranged in the brake drum and two brake shoes symmetrically arranged, the brake cylinder is arranged between the two brake shoes, and the round drum is arranged on the outer side of the brake drum.
