The invention provides a semi-automatic block and automatic inter-station block system. The system at least comprises an axle counting host unit, a block host unit and a communication unit, wherein the axle counting host unit, the block host unit and the communication unit are realized on the basis of a computer and have redundancy design; the block host unit with the redundancy design and the communication unit achieve a semi-automatic block function, the axle counting host unit with the redundancy design, the block host unit and the communication unit achieve an automatic inter-station block function, and the communication unit with the redundancy design achieves safety information transmission between blocks. According to the scheme, semi-automatic blocking and automatic inter-station blocking are achieved through the axle counting host unit, the blocking host unit and the communication unit which are achieved on the basis of a computer and have redundancy design, and the usability and reliability of the blocking system are improved.
