The invention discloses an energy feedback type magneto-rheological elastomer shock absorber for engine suspension. The energy feedback type magneto-rheological elastomer shock absorber comprises a shell, a magnet exciting coil assembly, a magnet, a magneto-rheological elastomer, a magnetic conductive block and an iron core. The magnet and the magnet exciting coil jointly participate in the power generation process, the magnet provides a magnetic field, when the magnet exciting coil moves in the magnetic field, current is generated through the electromagnetic induction phenomenon, power generation is achieved, when the magnet exciting coil is powered on, due to the magneto-rheological effect, the magneto-rheological elastomer changes the performance, and the magneto-rheological elastomer becomes harder; due to the fact that the magnetic field intensity penetrating through the magneto-rheological elastomer varies along with the magnitude of the electrified current, the damping effect of the magneto-rheological elastomer changes along with the change of the current, the damping effect borne by the magneto-rheological elastomer in the working process is controllable, and if too much current is not used, the current is stored in the energy storage capacitor through the lead, and energy feedback is achieved.
