An ejector system is constructed from a soft and robust material, such as a silicone-based material, that can be squeezed to fit within a small space and received when inactive, and that can be expanded or expanded by a mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic device when operated. One or more embodiments of the invention disclosed in the present application relate to adaptive propulsion systems that specifically operate in conjunction with an air compressor fan.
