The method comprises the steps that the current position of a vehicle and the position of a door point are acquired, and a probing range is determined based on the position of the door point; detecting whether the current position of the vehicle is within the exploration range; if the current position of the vehicle is within the exploration range, recording first current time; detecting whether the current position of the vehicle deviates from the detection range; if the current position of the vehicle deviates from the exploration range, second current time is recorded; and determining the working time of the vehicle based on the first current time and the second current time. The probing range is determined through the position of the door point, and then the working time of the vehicle is determined by recording the first current time when the vehicle enters the probing range and the second probing time when the vehicle leaves the probing range, that is, the position information of the vehicle can be updated in real time through an automatic means; therefore, the actual working time of the vehicle can be accurately calculated.
