The invention discloses a dictionary fusion steel rail damage positioning method based on dynamic time warping, and the method comprises the steps: segmenting a multi-channel AE signal into peak detection frames, and calculating the time difference between adjacent frames, so as to estimate the rolling distance of a wheel. Meanwhile, the multi-channel AE signal can train a sub-dictionary and a reference dictionary in previous work. The multi-dictionary SR algorithm based on the improved DTW is innovated, a unified fusion dictionary is synthesized through sub-dictionary weighting, damage feature information is enhanced, and most WRRN is reduced. In the process, the innovative ADTW-SDM algorithm reflects the global features of the dictionary atoms, and the similarity between the atoms is accurately evaluated through the second-order difference value of the Mahalanobis distance. A double-feature adaptive threshold is designed for detecting and positioning damage on the steel rail. The method provides guidance for follow-up accurate detection and positioning of large-range steel rail damage based on the advanced AE technology.
