The unmanned ship module comprises a buoyancy body, a bearing platform, a propelling device and a power supply, the control module comprises a central control assembly, a navigation and positioning assembly and a communication assembly, and the crack detection module comprises an equipment support, an anti-shake holder and dual-light shooting equipment. The control module controls the unmanned ship module and the crack detection module according to an instruction signal sent by an operator or a preset program, and detects the reservoir dam panel crack of the pumped storage power station. According to the method, navigation and image shooting of the platform are automatically controlled through a program, and the visible light and infrared light crack identification technology is combined, so that the convenience and accuracy of pumped storage power station reservoir dam concrete panel crack detection are improved.
