The invention discloses a self-locking mechanism for preventing inertia opening of a seat armrest, which comprises an armrest body and a seat backrest framework, the armrest body is rotatably connected with the seat backrest framework, the first side of the seat backrest framework is fixedly connected with a first bracket, the first bracket is hinged with a self-locking limiting piece, and the self-locking limiting piece is fixedly connected with the armrest body. A reset spring is connected between the self-locking limiting piece and the first support, the first support is provided with an arc-shaped movement groove, the handrail body is fixedly connected with a sliding shaft, the sliding shaft is arranged in the arc-shaped movement groove in a sliding mode, and the self-locking limiting piece can swing to the arc-shaped movement groove under the inertia effect. Therefore, the sliding shaft is prevented from moving. According to the invention, the rear-row middle armrest, especially the multifunctional armrest with large dead weight, can be prevented from being opened suddenly due to inertia.
