A system and method for barrier-free parking of a vehicle includes creating a barrier-free profile associated with the vehicle, and also creating a vehicle profile. Based on the vehicle profile and the barrier-free profile, one or more parking locations are identified. The method includes ranking the identified one or more parking locations based on a vehicle profile and a barrier-free profile. The vehicle is then routed to the highest ranked identified one or more parking locations. Once routed, a sensor in the vehicle determines whether the vehicle needs to be biased in the parking space in the highest ranked identified one or more parking locations. Based on the offset, an adjustment of a target parking position of the vehicle in the parking space is performed.
