The invention relates to the technical field of ship equipment, and discloses a hovercraft which comprises a hovercraft body, an engine, a propeller, an air cushion and a tail cover. By arranging the tail cover, in the drainage process, airflow generated by the engine and the propeller can be guided into the air cushion through the tail cover, the cross section of the side, away from the air cushion, of the tail cover in the vertical direction is in an arc shape, the angle is M, and M is larger than or equal to 80 degrees and smaller than or equal to 90 degrees; the section shape similar to a quarter circle can reduce the loss of the gas pressure head, so that the air cushion can generate stable buoyancy, the drainage process can be smoothly completed, and the risk of overturning caused by inclination of the ship body is avoided.
