The present invention relates to a connection system (100) for electrically connecting an electric drive unit (120, 121) to a battery (110) within an electric vehicle, in which the electric drive unit (120, 121) is mounted in the electric vehicle with a support allowing movement of the electric drive unit (120, 121) in relation to a driving state, the connection system (100) comprising: a dual bus (101) for transferring electrical energy between the battery (110) and the drive unit (120, 121); a battery-side electrical contact connection (113) for electrically connecting the dual bus (101) to a battery (110); a drive-side electrical contact connection (123) for electrically connecting the dual bus (101) to an electrical drive unit (120, 121); at least one fixing element (114, 124) for fixing the double bus bar (101); wherein the double bus bar (101) is designed to compensate for a relative movement between the drive-side electrical contact connection (123) and the battery-side electrical contact connection (113), which is caused by a movement of the electrical drive unit (120, 121) that is dependent on the driving situation.
