The invention relates to a contact housing (14) for a charging socket (10) of a motor vehicle, comprising a plug interface (12) having a plurality of receiving openings (16) for receiving respective contact pins (18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30) which can be brought into contact with a charging plug for charging a battery of the motor vehicle, wherein the contact housing (14) is a multi-component injection molded part, the body (40) of which is manufactured from a first component, and a sealing region (42) forming at least the respective edge of the receiving opening (16) is manufactured from a second component (41) which is more elastic than the first component. The invention further relates to a charging socket (10) for a motor vehicle having such a contact housing (14), and to a method for producing such a charging socket (10).
