The invention provides hoisting equipment and a hoisting method for duct pieces, and relates to the technical field of vertical shaft construction, and the equipment comprises a hanging bracket unit and a sling unit. The hanging bracket unit comprises a main hanging bracket, a supporting part and a connecting piece are arranged on one side of the main hanging bracket, the supporting part is used for abutting against the inner wall of the duct piece, and the connecting piece is used for being connected with the top of the duct piece. The sling unit comprises a moving main body and a plurality of sling assemblies, each sling assembly is connected with the moving main body and the hanging bracket unit, and a counterweight part is further arranged on the side, away from the supporting part, of the main hanging bracket and used for enabling the gravity center of the hanging bracket unit before and after hoisting to be located in the hoisting force distribution range between the sling assemblies. And the moving main body is configured to drive the main hanging bracket to move downwards through the sling assemblies so as to transfer the duct piece to a preset mounting position in a vertical shaft where the duct piece is mounted. According to the hoisting equipment and the hoisting method for the duct piece, the duct piece can be accurately and stably hoisted in the vertical shaft.
