The invention discloses a cavitation bubble forming method for drag reduction of an underwater navigation body, and relates to an underwater drag reduction technology. The invention aims to solve the problem that the formation condition of the supercavitation of the existing underwater vehicle is harsh. The method comprises the steps that firstly, trepanning treatment is conducted on the side surface of the underwater navigation body, and the navigation body with vent holes in the side surface is obtained; and carrying out super-hydrophobic treatment on the navigation body with the vent holes in the side surface. According to the cavitation bubble forming method for drag reduction of the underwater navigation body, in the running process of the underwater navigation body, gas can be led out of the vent holes in the side surface of the navigation body to cover the side surface of the navigation body, the interface of the navigation body is effectively converted into a solid-gas-liquid interface from a solid-liquid interface, and the surface super-hydrophobic treatment of the navigation body is combined, so that the drag reduction effect of the underwater navigation body is improved. The surface contact angle of the navigation body can be effectively increased, the supercavitation generation condition of the underwater navigation body is reduced, supercavitation generation of the navigation body is promoted, most of the surface of the navigation body is separated from water, and resistance borne by the underwater navigation body during navigation is reduced.
