The invention relates to the technical field of range extending control, and discloses a vehicle range extending control method, device and equipment and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises the steps that whether the current working condition is switched or not is judged based on the current working condition and current operation data of a vehicle; if yes, a range extender of the vehicle is controlled to execute a range extending control strategy corresponding to the switched working condition; if not, the range extender is controlled to execute the range extending control strategy corresponding to the current working condition. According to the technical scheme, the range extender can be controlled to adopt different strategies for power generation according to the actual working condition scene of the vehicle, the problem that the control strategy is single is solved, and therefore the vehicle using experience of a user is improved.
