The invention discloses a squirrel-cage asynchronous direct-drive low-speed large-torque mining lifting device which comprises a motor base, the motor base is of a rectangular frame structure, a motor is arranged above the motor base, an encoder is arranged on the side face of the motor, a radiator is arranged at the top of the motor, a coupler is arranged at the output end of the motor, and the coupler is connected to a lifting machine. According to the elevator, the motor is directly connected with the elevator through the coupler, the transmission efficiency of the system is effectively improved, and due to the fact that the part, namely a speed reducer, is omitted, the use maintenance cost is reduced, and the fault probability is reduced.
